What happens when you go out on the town? You meet people. Sometimes you meet people who help you. That was the case when our Kitchen Manager, errr “Ruler of All Thing Delicious” went to Alive After 5 this week. He went down and listened to some great music by a group from New Orleans called E.O.E. (Equal Opportunity Employment) and met the band and found at that one of them is a chef. As conversation continued, Ryan had arranged for them to come to Life’s Kitchen to do a guest chef experience for the kids as well as talk about diversity. With a short amount of time to make it happen, a press release was sent and word came down that Fox 12 was going to cover the story. A great thank you to Tami Tremblay at Fox for helping us with this! So the band came down as did Fox and E.O.E. took the time to show us their ability in the kitchen. A great afternoon was had at Life’s Kitchen to be sure. In as much as we can, we would like to give a world-beat-shout-out to E.O.E. for giving their time to us and making the world a little bit better than it was before!
